Sébastien Ourselin obtained his PhD in Computer Science from INRIA. He is Deputy Director of the Centre for Medical Image Computing, Head of Image Analysis at the Dementia Research Centre. He has published over 250 journal and conference articles. His main research interests include image registration, segmentation, molecular imaging, atlas conception, statistical shape modelling, surgical simulation, image-guided therapy and minimally invasive surgery. He has been involved in a broad range of clinical projects, including neuroimaging, neurosurgery, computer-assisted cardiovascular surgery, radiotherapy treatment, colonoscopy, and orthopaedic imaging.
